KOTA KINABALU: The Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Ministry (Maffi) faces a RM25.47 million deficit this year despite a 2.8 per cent budget increase from the previous year, said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan.

Jeffrey, who is also Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister, said Maffi requires RM173.6 million to develop Sabah's agricultural sector this year but was allocated only RM148.13 million under the State Budget.
