Lhey Manginsay and Wilfred Redulla secured the silver medal in the para table tennis mixed doubles class XD17 at the 5th Asian Para Games in Nagoya, Japan on Thursday.
The pair lost to China’s Zhao Shuai and Xiong Guiyan in the final, 3-1.
Earlier, they defeated Japan’s Iwabuchi Koyo and Tomono Yuri, 3-2 in the semifinals and India’s Savita Ajjanakatti and Dattaprasad Chougule, 3-2, in the quarterfinals.
As of posting time, the Philippines has two gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze medal in the ongoing games.
