  • Customers using mobile banking apps for Lloyds, Bank of Scotland, and Halifax reported being able to view other users' transactions.
  • The technical glitch, flagged on Thursday morning, meant users could see payments that did not belong to their accounts.
  • While account numbers or names were not visible, some users reported seeing Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) benefit payments, which include National Insurance numbers as references.
  • One customer in Scotland stated she saw transactions from six different users over a 20-minute period.
  • Lloyds Banking Group confirmed the issue on social media and shared: “We are currently investigating the issue, and it may be the result of a technical glitch. In the meantime, please try logging out and logging back in this should resolve the problem. Rest assured, your account remains completely safe with us.”
