Certain packages ofFly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles have been recalled across the United States after the company identified a potential peanut contamination risk linked to shared manufacturing equipment. The recall affects specific single-pack and four-pack noodle products sold online and through retailers including Whole Foods Market and Thrive Market between February and May 2026.
Fly By Jing announced the voluntary recall after discovering that a third-party manufacturer used equipment that also processes peanuts. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the contamination risk could cause serious or life-threatening allergic reactions in people with peanut allergies.
The company said peanuts are not an intended ingredient in the recalled noodle products. Fly By Jing also stated that no other noodle flavors or sauce products are included in the recall.
Recalled Products Were Sold Nationwide Through Stores and Online
According to the FDA recall notice published on May 13, the affected products include Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles sold as single packs and four-packs. The recalled single-pack product carries UPC 8-50052-23988-6, while the four-pack version carries UPC 8-50052-23991-6. The impacted products can also be identified by specific best-by dates listed on the back or bottom of the packaging. The dates are Oct. 15, 2026, Dec. 6, 2026, and March 23, 2027.
The FDA said the recalled noodles were distributed nationwide between Feb. 1 and May 8, 2026. The products were available through FlyByJing.com and retail chains including Whole Foods Market and Thrive Market. The company added that some products may also have been sold through TikTok Shop.
According to Fly By Jing, the issue was traced to production conditions at a third-party manufacturing facility. The company said the noodles were produced on shared equipment that also processes peanuts “under conditions that may have led to peanut being” in the noodle products.
The company said it immediately stopped distributing the affected products, notified retail partners and customers, and placed remaining inventory on hold while corrective actions were implemented.
Consumers With Peanut Allergies Urged Not to Consume Recalled Noodles
Federal regulators warned that people with peanut allergies should not consume the recalled products. According to the FDA, exposure to peanuts could trigger severe allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Fly By Jing advised consumers to return the recalled noodles to the place of purchase for a full refund. Customers who purchased products through the company website or TikTok Shop are also expected to be contacted directly, according to company statements cited in multiple recall notices.
The company said it has introduced stricter allergen-control procedures and additional safety checks with the third-party manufacturer involved in production. Fly By Jing stated that these measures were implemented to help prevent similar incidents in the future.
According to reporting published by Food Allergy Research & Education, food allergies affect about 33 million people in the United States. Separate figures cited in coverage of the recall noted that peanut allergies affect millions of American adults and children, with severe reactions sometimes requiring emergency medical treatment.
