Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCCI) President Datuk Michael Lui Yen Sang hopes police will increase regular patrols in residential and commercial areas, as well as conduct more integrated walkabouts.
He said this while welcoming Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun’s assurance of ongoing integrated operations in hotspots aimed at engaging the community while demonstrating police omnipresence.
He also praised the police for solving several robbery cases at tourist hotspots in the city.
“Recent security vulnerabilities have prompted concern and fear among the people. House and vehicle break-ins and street robberies have become more common throughout the city.
