Malabon pushes workplace wellness

MALABON City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval led the signing Thursday of the commitment letter and commitment wall for the city's healthy workplaces initiative.

“The commitment letter symbolizes institutional accountability and dedication to workplace wellness, while the commitment wall reflects the collective support and unity of participating agencies and organizations,” the mayor said.

Also launched during the event was the Kabataan One Network for Empowerment and Kalusugan (Konek) or the Integrated Information Service Delivery Network for Adolescent Health and Development Manual of Referral.

“These efforts form part of the city's continuing commitment to improving public health outcomes, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and building a more resilient community for the youth,” City Administrator Alexander Rosete said.

The manual is a guide for residents on how to gain access to essential health programs and services.

The initiatives, spearheaded by the City Health Department-Health Education and Promotion Section, aim to strengthen access to health information and services for adolescents and ensure that city employees benefit from safe, supportive, and wellness-oriented workplaces. ARLIE CALALO
