Malabon pushes workplace wellness

​MALABON City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval led the signing Thursday of the commitment letter and commitment wall for the city's healthy workplaces initiative.

​“The commitment letter symbolizes institutional accountability and dedication to workplace wellness, while the commitment wall reflects the collective support and unity of participating agencies and organizations,” the mayor said.

​Also launched during the event was the Kabataan One Network for Empowerment and Kalusugan (Konek) or the Integrated Information Service Delivery Network for Adolescent Health and Development Manual of Referral.

​“These efforts form part of the city's continuing commitment to improving public health outcomes, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and building a more resilient community for the youth,” City Administrator Alexander Rosete said.

​The manual is a guide for residents on how to gain access to essential health programs and services.

​The initiatives, spearheaded by the City Health Department-Health Education and Promotion Section, aim to strengthen access to health information and services for adolescents and ensure that city employees benefit from safe, supportive, and wellness-oriented workplaces. ARLIE CALALO
