Kota Kinabalu: Borneo’s Plight in Malaysia Foundation (BoPiMaFo). President Daniel John Jambun said former two-time Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohd only talk about the Malays as if others bumiputeras in Sabah and Sarawak do not matter.
“Legally, socially and politically, Malays are well protected under the Federal Constitution, How is it possible then that the Malays which have been politically dominant for more than 60 years are now said to be marginalised? Mahathir himself was the Prime minister for more than two decades,” he said.
He said if what Mahathir says is correct, the bumiputera of Sabah and Sarawak are in worse situation.
