KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia went one spot higher to 61 in the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2022 rankings.
Last year, Malaysia dropped five spots to 62nd position out of 180 countries in terms of public sector corruption.
The ranking of 100 means very clean, while zero means highly corrupt.
