Malaysia records 2,796 Covid-19 cases, one death in the last 24 hours

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 2,796 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to data published by the Health Ministry.

There was one death reported due to Covid-19, bringing the death toll rate to 35,742 since the pandemic began.

Currently, there are 27,318 active cases with 26,253 (96.1 per cent) undergoing home quarantine.

The Health Ministry also recorded 2,503 recoveries yesterday.

To date, Malaysia has recorded 4,549,847 Covid-19 cases since March 2020.
