KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 — National squash ace S. Sivasangari maintained her fine form by booking a spot in the quarter-finals of the Silicon Valley Open 2025 in Redwood City, United States, today.

The tournament’s third seed proved too strong for Egypt’s Kenzy Ayman, cruising to an 11-4, 11-9, 11-8 win in the second round.

Sivasangari will next face home favourite Amanda Sobhy of the United States in the last-eight stage.

Meanwhile, national player Rachel Arnold’s campaign came to an end after she fell short against fourth seed Georgina Kennedy of England in a five-game thriller, going down 11-6, 4-11, 11-9, 8-11, 9-11. — Bernama
