I love Malaysia and I want to see Malaysia soar again. You may be sceptical and discouraged but I do not fault you. Disappointments, betrayals and heartaches are part and parcel of our human life. I believe all these are in our paths to make us stronger and better as a person as well as a nation. So, be encouraged with this:
Arise, beloved Malaysia, from the mire of bitter wrongs,
Where lies and corruption silenced our once-triumphant songs.
From financial scandals scandals of decades and trials deep and wide,
From MISC and fake halal meat to 1MDB's dark tide,
A heavy weight of stolen billions rests upon our land,
Leaving a debt for generations, the fruit of greedy hands.
Those stolen riches weep for all the good they could have brought—
Better schools and transit lines that rakyat long have sought.
Instead, the young, the working souls, and elderly in pain
Endure the soaring price of food beneath our economic strain.
In crowded, weary wards, overworked doctors stand,
And healthcare workers cry for help across our hurting land.
Yet Malaysia presses on through the turmoil and the grief,
To rebuild investor confidence and find a firm relief.
Anchored in five pillars that define our sacred trust,
Our Rukunegara guides us to be merciful and just:
Belief in God to guide our path, Loyalty to our King and Country,
Supremacy of Constitution and the Rule of Law we hold,
With Courtesy and Morality as timeless values unfold.
A bruised reed shall not break, for God will cause His truth to reign,
Establishing His justice and removing all the pain.
So put away discouragement, sorrow, fear, and plight,
Arise in a new-found unity to walk in the light!
With Malaysia Boleh in our hearts and Malaysia Madani ablaze,
The best is yet to be—God bless Malaysia's future days!
