
Malaysia’s compound women and recurve men teams both won bronze medals on day three of the 2026 Asia Cup Archery Championships in Bangkok.
MALAYSIANS archers secured two bronze medals on the third day of the 2026 Asia Cup Archery Championships (Stage 1) in Bangkok.
The national women’s compound trio of Fatin Nurfatehah Mat Salleh, Ng Sui Kim and Aina Syazwana Abdul Muhaimin delivered the first bronze with a shoot-off win over Thailand after both teams were tied 225-225.
They had earlier lost 227-229 to Kazakhstan in the semi-finals.
The men’s recurve team of Quick Chern Xin, Evan Rich Chong and Muhammad Haiqal Danish Syamsul Affandi also clinched bronze after defeating Taiwan 6-2.
The national men’s recurve team had earlier lost 1-5 to India in the last four.
