KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 — Malaysian content creator Mohamad Sofian Abdullah, known online as Sofyank, has put out an urgent post to help recover his laptop bag at Changi Airport, Singapore.

In a Twitter post, the social media influencer claimed that someone had accidentally taken his laptop bag, which contained his wallet, laptop and hard disk.

Sofyank believed the bag was taken after his flight on Singaporean airline Flyscoot from Malaysia to Singapore yesterday (May 25) which arrived at 10.50pm.

He also said the laptop had an ‘unreleased and very important’ upcoming video project.

Using an AirTag tracker in his wallet, Sofyank shared screenshots of his bag’s believed location and asked Singaporean fans and Changi Airport authorities for assistance.

At 6am this morning (May 26) the AirTag location stopped as he believed the person with his bag had taken an international flight.

In a recent update post as of 10.30am, Sofyank shared the current AirTag location of his wallet which had travelled from Changi Airport to Clark International Airport in Mabalacat, Philippines.

He asked his fans from Philippines for their help and has contacted the Clark International Airport staff for assistance.

Sofyank is known for his viral videos using digital VFX and visual effects that featured international celebrities like Ryan Reynolds, Paul Rudd, and Jonathan Majors.

The 27-year-old recently won the Ultimate VFX Challenge competition in Los Angeles in April organised by US content creator Zach King, who is also Sofyank’s idol.
