A recent video has gone viral showing two young fighters getting into a heated argument during a Warzone World Championship (WWC) press conference.
The upcoming WWC International Influencer Super Lightweight Championship, set for 6 and 7 December, has since grabbed public attention after several clips of the incident between Malaysian and Indonesian fighters made rounds online.

Following the controversy, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) clarified that the WWC has not received official approval from the ministry.
In a statement, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh explained that any sports event, especially those involving international participants, must first get approval from the Commissioner of Sports Malaysia under the Sports Development Act 1997 [Act 576].
“Organisers who fail to comply with this regulation may face action under Section 36 of Act 576. The ministry urges all parties to follow existing rules to protect the integrity, safety, and image of national sports.”

WWC has finally broken its silence, issuing a public apology and admitting its mistakes, including creating wrong impressions about its intentions and setting a poor example for underage viewers.
In its statement, the organisation said it would temporarily suspend underage fighters and review all safety, control, and promotional guidelines to ensure future events comply fully with national sports regulations.
“We accept the criticism with an open heart and will take immediate corrective action. All influencer fighters and new participants in combat sports must now meet the basic qualifications and standards set by official sports bodies to ensure professionalism and safety,” the statement read.
WWC ended by pledging that all future events will be organised more carefully, professionally, and in line with proper sports ethics.
