A teenager was devastated and demoralized to hear that he needed to repeat the SPM test since he didn't receive an A in every subject. He had thought that his mother was going to be proud of him for his performance.
A user going by the handle @bryanbounn posted a screenshot of his SPM results on TikTok, where he vented his dissatisfaction. The snapshot revealed that he received 6As, 2Bs, and 1E.
Even though he got an "E" (considered a "pass") for his Maths paper, his final grades were still respectable in the eyes of most.
When the teenager told his mother about his achievements, though, her reaction was less than enthusiastic. She further aggravated the situation by telling him that his scores were "less than satisfactory" and giving him the go-ahead to retake the SPM the following year to get an A+ in every subject.
