Bolt, a popular European ride-hailing app, has officially launched in Malaysia, giving locals a new option to book rides at competitive prices.

With its arrival, Bolt is poised to provide an alternative to the dominant player, Grab, and potentially reshape the landscape of ride-hailing services in the country.

As an introductory offer, Bolt is giving new users 50% off their first 20 rides, with a maximum discount of RM15 per ride.
