A group of friends spontaneously gifted a mamak worker with a blind box plushie – and his reaction was everything.
Staff were curious
In a video posted on TikTok, a group of girls were just spending time together at a mamak in Johor Bahru and opening blind boxes.
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the OP who goes by the name Fatinsya, said that she and her friends were unboxing the popular blind box Bikini Bottom series as the mamak staff were walking past.
The staff were curious and asked what they were doing, so they decided to let them experience unboxing one for themselves.
Had one extra box
Luckily, they had an extra unopened box from a popular coffee chain, which they decided to give to one of the staff for him to open.
In the video, he was initially confused as to how it worked until one of Fatinsya’s friends explained it to him.
His uncontained glee was then captured as he unwrapped the plushie within, proudly showing it off to his coworker.

Netizens were touched by the worker’s happiness over a toy, commending on Fatinsya and her friends’ kindness.

One even envied the worker’s luck as the plushie he unboxed was rare now that it had sold out.

When asked why they decided to give the worker the blind box, Fatinsya said that they just wanted to make the workers happy.
