LAHAD DATU: A 41-year-old man was arrested for allegedly threatening his 75-year-old father with a machete at Kampung Jawa, Jalan Segama on Wednesday evening.
District police chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the incident stemmed from the suspect becoming upset after learning his guitar had been lent to a cousin.
The suspect was detained during an 11pm Op Cantas raid, where police also seized a machete believed to have been used in the 6.15pm incident.

The man is being held at Lahad Datu Police Headquarters and is under investigation for criminal intimidation under Section 506 of the Penal Code.
