If you thought jump scares only happen in movies, think again.
A man in Thailand recently gave a store employee the fright of her life when he walked into the premises dressed head to toe as Valak, the terrifying nun from The Conjuring universe.
And yes, he was fully committed — complete with pale face makeup, haunting black-and-white robes, and that signature dark eye makeup.
Not your usual customer
In a short clip shared by TikTok user @napapron, the man is seen strolling into a store dressed as Valak, the demonic nun from the horror movie series.
As soon as the female staff caught sight of him, she screamed, jumped in shock, and fell to the ground in fear, visibly shaken by the unexpected encounter.
Fortunately, the moment she realised it was just a man in costume and not an actual ghost, her fear quickly turned into nervous laughter and relief.
