Kota Kinabalu: A 37-year-old man was charged in the Sessions Court with committing physical sexual harassment against his teenage stepdaughter.
The general worker pleaded not guilty before Judge Elsie Primus after the charge was read to him.
He is accused of touching the 14-year-old’s private part for a sexual purpose at a house in Penampang in September 2021.
The court fixed Nov 3 for pre-trial case management and granted him bail of RM10,000 with RM5,000 to be deposited in two local sureties.
He was also ordered to report to Penampang police station monthly, surrender his passport, and not communicate with prosecution witnesses, especially the alleged victim.
