- Joshua Kerry, 28, from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, has been charged with preparation of terrorist acts.
- The alleged terrorism preparation included targeting Reform UK leader Nigel Farage MP.
- Counter Terrorism Policing stated the charge relates to alleged activities taking place between 31 May 2024 and 8 July 2026.
- The accused was charged under section 5(1)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2006 following authorisation from the Crown Prosecution Service.
- Kerry is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 7 October.
