RANAU: A local driver cheated death when his vehicle skidded and landed on its side (pic) on Tuesday.
Ranau Fire Station Chief Rantey Fred said the incident happened in Kg Marakau Ranau at 11.10pm.
He said seven personnel were deployed to the location about 4km from the station following a call on the incident through the MERS999 line.

Rantey advised all motorists to exercise extra precaution when driving across the district, especially on narrow or under-repair roads.
