Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed they're signing Anderlecht fullback Sergio Gomez.
Guardiola admitted today the deal was now being finalised.
He stated: "The club is always working on many possibilities in all positions. He is a talented player who went from Barcelona to Borussia Dortmund. He didn't play many minutes and was given a chance by Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht.
"He's an exceptional player. It's not necessary for me to tell you, everybody knows it."
On whether he will be available to go out on loan once the £11 million deal is completed, the manager added: "He is going to stay with us."
