Manchester City have dismissed speculation linking them with RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.
The left-sided defender is one of the hottest properties in Europe, and was also linked to Tottenham and Chelsea earlier in the transfer window.
However, The Daily Mail suggests that City are distancing themselves from Gvardiol for now.
The 20-year-old played 46 games for RB Leipzig last season, which has led to the German club insisting that he is not for sale at any price.
City are focusing on the left-back position for now, as they missed out on the signing of Marc Cucurella from Brighton, who is Chelsea-bound.
The Premier League champions will turn to Anderlecht's Sergio Gomez instead.
