Manchester City anchorman Rodri has ruled out a future transfer to Saudi Arabia.
The defensive midfielder, whose recent suspension coincided with his team losing three games in all competitions, won the treble with his club last season.
When asked if he would consider a move away from Europe for a big pay day near the end of his career, Rodri pushed back.
"I try to enjoy the moment, just as I never imagined playing in the Premier League and upon arriving it has been very positive," he told Cadena Ser.
"Spain is my country and we'll see. I move a lot for sporting challenges; I want to win and I came here for that and I am very happy."
On Saudi, he added: "It is very difficult for me to be attracted to a challenge like Arabia because I have sporting ambitions."
