City are fighting desperately to keep hold of Bernardo, who has a stunning contract offer on the table from Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal have offered Bernardo a three-year contract worth 75m-a-year.
The Times says City have made a last ditch attempt to keep hold of Bernardo by tabling him an improved deal.
The 28 year-old's current contract runs to 2025.
