Manchester City are ready to upgrade the contract of Julian Alvarez.
The former River Plate striker only joined City this past summer.
But now a World Cup winner, the Argentina striker is arriving in England to open talks about a pay-hike.
Alvarez has a deal to 2027 and his agreement is set to be extended and improved, says The Times.
This season he has scored eight goals and produced two assists in 23 competitive matches, ten of which were starts.
