Manchester City are close to announcing the signing of River Plate midfielder Claudio Echeverri.
The 17 year-old prospect will join City for a fee of 25m.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Echeverri has agreed a six-year deal and will officially make the move in December 2024.
Echeverri will remain with River on-loan until then.
The midfielder has agreed to join City ahead of a rival offer from Barcelona.
