Stefan Ortega has announced he's leaving Arminia Bielefeld.
The goalkeeper is a target for Manchester City.
The 29-year-old came through the youth ranks at Arminia and has spent 12 years in the first team across two stints. But he becomes a free agent this summer, and with a new deal not signed, he confirmed his exit via Instagram on Monday.
He wrote: “It's time to say goodbye. I wanted to thank Arminia Bielefeld for an incredible 12 years.
“It was an indescribable journey in which I developed enormously both as a sportsman and as a person. We managed to get promoted to the Bundesliga, with a relegation the year after.
“I could always count on your support and will always be an Arminia fan. I wish the upcoming team and all fans only the best and maximum success.
“Stay healthy and thank you again for everything."
