Manchester City are eyeing VfB Stuttgart defender Borna Sosa.
City see Sosa as an alternative to Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella. Like the Spaniard, Sosa is known for his attacking qualities at left-back.
Sky Deutschland says City see Sosa as a cheaper option, with Brighton refusing an offer of £30m for Cucurella.
In contrast, VfB will sell Sosa for a bid of £20m.
Sosa impressed last season, contributing two goals and nine assists in 30 competitive games.
