Sergio Gomez's future at Manchester City is in doubt.
The Spain U21 left-back joined City a year ago from Anderlecht, but managed only a handful of first team appearances last season.
The Manchester Evening News says Gomez could be on the move in the coming months.
City were willing to loan out Gomez last season before Oleks Zinchenko's sale to Arsenal thwarted the move.
However, Gomez could now be cleared to leave on-loan for the new campaign in order to secure regular first team football.
