A man in his 40s died after a fall at his fish pond in Perak while casting a net, with firefighters finding him unconscious at the scene.
IPOH: A man died after a fall at his fish pond in Kampung Sungai Nangka Jelai near Batu Kurau last night.
The Perak Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call about the incident at 8.02 pm.
Assistant director of operations Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the call involved a man in his 40s.
Firefighters from the Batu Kurau station arrived at the scene 16 minutes later.
They found the victim lying unconscious at the edge of the pond.
Medical personnel later confirmed the man had died at the scene.
The body was handed over to the police for further action.
The rescue operation ended at 9.38 pm.
