A MAN was killed after he reportedly fell from a tractor while working in an orchard at Kampung Bukit Rawa, Sedim, Malau, near Baling, Kedah on Thursday.

Acting Baling District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Ahmad Salimi Md Ali, said the Malau Police Station received a report from a member of the public at about 4pm, informing them that a man was found lying motionless with blood on his face at the scene.

“Following the report, the Malau Police Chief, together with officers and investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Baling District Police Headquarters, rushed to the location,” he said in a statement on Friday.

“Preliminary investigations found that the victim, aged 28, and residing in Kampung Gelugor, Karangan, Kulim, was discovered unconscious with facial injuries. He had reportedly gone to the orchard with the caretaker to carry out some work, and is believed to have fallen from the tractor while operating it,” he added.
