TAMPARULI: A man died after a trailer lorry crashed into a Toyota Hilux and an electric pole in Kampung Minangkop here early Monday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 7.27am and arrived at the scene, 25km away, at 8am with nine personnel from the Tuaran station.
The 43-year-old male victim was trapped in the Toyota Hilux and was extricated by firefighters with the help of a towing vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, and his body was handed over to the police for further action.
The operation concluded at 1.20pm
