SEMPORNA: A man in his 40s who went missing after failing to return home from fishing at Kampung Sungai Pegagau on Friday has been found dead, believed to have been attacked by a crocodile.
A State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said part of the victim’s body was found by members of the public at 4.30pm on Saturday.
The department received a distress call at 4.33pm and seven personnel from Semporna Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the scene.
“The commander of the operation reported that part of the victim’s body was found by members of public at 4.30pm.
