  • Michael Lewis, 55, from Denton, Texas, has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for stalking Indiana Fever basketball star Caitlin Clark.
  • Lewis pleaded guilty to stalking after sending over 800 vulgar and sexually explicit messages to Clark on X between December 2024 and January 2025.
  • He was also accused of travelling from Texas to Indianapolis, visiting locations associated with Clark and purchasing tickets to games she was expected to attend.
  • Clark reportedly became paranoid and changed her appearance in public due to fear, leading to Lewis's arrest after he continued contact despite police warnings.
  • In addition to his prison sentence, Lewis received a 180-day suspended sentence, a stay-away order from Clark and related venues, and is banned from using the internet.
