
TAWAU: A man hurt his leg when the Toyota Hilux he was driving in crashed at Kg Jagung Jalan Tawau-Merotai, Saturday.
Tawau Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Jemishin Ujin, said the 30-year-old victim, who was pinned to the vehicle, was extricated using special equipment.
“The victim was later given initial treatment and handed over to the ambulance to be sent to Tawau Hospital for further treatment,” he said.
Jemishin said they received the emergency call at 2.51am through Mers999.
