
Tenom: A man was injured when his four-wheel drive vehicle skidded and hit a tree on the side of the road at the Sabah Murut Cultural Centre, here, Saturday evening.
The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 2.30pm and six members led by the Operations Commander, Arduna Antigang rushed to the scene with machinery.
Also present at the scene were policeman and medical staff.
According to the Operations Commander, a 29-year-old victim was successfully removed by firemen using a stretcher.

After ensuring that the situation was safe, the operation ended at 2.59pm.
