Police hunt two suspects after a fatal shooting outside an entertainment outlet in Skudai, Johor
ISKANDAR PUTERI: A man was shot dead in front of an entertainment outlet in Taman Industri Jaya, Skudai, near here last night.
Iskandar Puteri district police chief ACP M. Kumarasan said police are hunting for two suspects believed to be involved in the incident.
He said police were alerted to the incident at about 11 pm by a 27-year-old local woman.
He said preliminary investigations found that a local man, about 27 years old, died at the scene after sustaining gunshot wounds.
“Another local man, also believed to be about 27, was injured after being shot. It is also believed that another victim was injured, but his identity has yet to be established as he was taken away by acquaintances after the incident,” he said in a statement today.
Kumarasan said the victim believed to have been injured is urged to come forward to assist police investigations.
He said the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
