While filling up his car at a petrol station, a driver spotted a lone figure abandoned on the side of the road.
He was shocked to discover a tiny black and white puppy, only a few weeks old.
A sad discovery
No one knows how long the little dog had been alone at the petrol station, but one thing was certain: it was no place for a tiny puppy. So, the man took the little one home with him. The poor thing was covered in ticks.
The first thing he did was give her a bath with a special treatment to remove all the ticks from her body. The little pup was so exhausted that she literally fell asleep in the bath! The driver's family then named her Polly.
A loving new home
Polly immediately got on well with the family's two other dogs. In an update video, we learned that it wasn't long before Polly was adopted by her forever family. The good news is that her new family lives in the same neighbourhood as the driver, so he'll still be able to watch her grow up and thrive!
Now, the little dog is learning to find her voice with her first barks. We're so happy that she has found her family and has a bright future ahead of her!
