Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes admits speaking with manager Erik ten Hag about their style of play.
Fernandes has likened Ten Hag's approach to his former Sporting CP coach Marcel Keizer.
He said, "I spoke to him and he asked me what I thought of our style of play.
"I told him that I had a coach at Sporting [Marcel Keizer] who also came from Ajax and way of working is quite similar. It was with Keizer that I had my best time at Sporting."
Fernandes added: "I know that everyone has high expectations of me because my first season was fantastic and last season I only scored ten goals and made 14 assists. I can do much more than that."
