Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag insists he's counting on Cristiano Ronaldo for the new season.
Ronaldo is yet to meet face-to-face with Ten Hag, having been absent from preseason training and also their trip to Thailand.
But Ten Hag stated today: "He has not said this to me (that he wants to leave).
"I have read it, but Cristiano is not for sale, he is in our plans and wants success together."
The Dutchman added: "We are planning with Ronaldo for this season, that's all. I look forward to working with him. I talked to him before this came up. I had a really good chat with him."
