Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag explained Toby Collyer making the bench today against Fulham.
The signing from Brighton is on the bench for the first time today.
Ten Hag said: "He showed some good stuff. He showed potential.
"We have some problems [injuries] but for him it's an opportunity to be involved and he has to be ready to come on because that's required when you're on the bench."
