Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is swinging the axe this week as he informs a raft of senior players they should leave.

As many as TEN first teamers have been informed they need to find new clubs this summer.

And the decision has the full backing of the top brass - no matter who eventually takes charge as United's takeover talks rumble on.

ESPN says Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Alex Telles, Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Fred, Anthony Martial and Anthony Elanga have all been told they can leave.

Henderson spent last season on-loan with Nottingham Forest, as did Telles with Sevilla. Both players could return to the respective clubs. Fred is a target for Fulham, while Bailly is wanted by Real Betis.
