Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has made a call on young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.
The youngster has featured in preseason wins against Leeds and Lyon.
The Manchester Evening News says the midfielder will be kept around the first-team this season instead of being sent on loan.
Ten Hag has informed Mainoo of his decision.
Mainoo, 18, made his Premier League debut last season and also featured in the Carabao Cup.
