Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been named new club captain.
That's according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
United manager Erik ten Hag stripped defender Harry Maguire of the captaincy last week and has now handed the armband to Fernandes.
The 28-year-old Portuguese moved to United from Sporting in January 2020. In the 2022/23 season, Fernandes made 59 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists.
It was revealed earlier this week that Fernandes refused a move to Saudi Arabia.
