Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says the team must always come first.
The Dutchman started yesterday's victory at Southampton with Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench.
"As a manager, you have to make the clear decisions," he said before kickoff.
"The team is always the most important and you make the decisions for the advantage of the team. But in your communications, you have to be clear and honest."
Ten Hag also spoke of Casemiro, adding: "I think we have a squad that is quite competitive, so it's always a difficult decision but as you say we had a really good result on Monday and we will stick with it but it is also to give Casemiro the time.
"He has not played one game for 90 mins and he has to adapt to England and adapt to Man United and we have to give him the time to integrate in the team."
