Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was happy with Casemiro's winning debut at Southampton.
United triumphed 1-0 in a closely fought contest, in which Casemiro made his debut from the bench, coming on as an 80th minute substitute.
“I think it was quite good for him to see what the Premier League is," said Ten Hag.
“It's a different style, he has now a pre-season, he played some games, he played one time 90 minutes, but he is fit.
“He had a good pre-season with a lot of training sessions and now we have to integrate him in the team in a way of play and to integrate him with his teammates."
