Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has challenged Marcus Rashford to improve his finishing.

Rashford has scored five goals in 10 games, but failed to hit the net against Omonia Nicosia despite having 10 shots during the 1-0 Europa League win on Thursday.

"He did a lot of things well but he knows he has to be more clinical and he had to score a goal," said the United boss. "When you have such good movements and make such good combinations, good actions, then you have to finish."

The Dutchman also wants the rest of the team to pitch in with goals. Asked if United have a 20-goal-a-season striker in their ranks, he replied: "I think we have in our squad players who can score that number of goals.

"But I think we also need something from midfield and the defensive department."
