Manchester United have granted manager Erik ten Hag's request for a special preparation area.

United's board agreed to sacrifice a lucrative part of their Old Trafford stadium as per Ten Hag's wishes.

The Dutch coach wanted an area, per The Mail, where United's players could have a lounge to prepare pre-game.

Now it is said to be in operation, with a premium hospitality lounge giving way for the change to occur.

While United will lose out on corporate packages and the associated income, they are choosing to back Ten Hag.

The Dutch coach is also likely to get his way with many outgoing transfers, including the likes of Donny van de Beek, Fred, Harry Maguire, and possibly Scott McTominay.
